Steamboat Springs

What a fun, vibrant town! We enjoyed our four night stay in the Wyndham Village at Steamboat, courtesy of our dear friends, Jim and Maxine. We yet again benefited from their timeshare… what a treat. We spent three days hiking, biking, playing games and laughing. Friendships are precious but you have to keep them kindled. Mission accomplished ❤️

Hiking up to Fish Creek Falls.
The falls. After a summer of palm trees and sand, the lush mountain forest was delightful.
Riding e-bikes along the Yampa River Trail.
With a stop to explore the lovely (free!) Yampa River Botanical Gardens.
And an apres ride lunch stop at Cabo Taco complete with Charro Beans and crispy tacos, Nanny style!
We ended our visit with a delicious dinner at Seedz. Thanks, Jim and Maxine for introducing us to another beautiful spot in Colorado!

We still enjoy planning our own travel (most of the time😉). Using “Third Home”, a home exchange program, has added a new dimension to our travel planning. As Andy Dufresne says “Either get busy living, or get busy dying”
